About the SAVP

Paul Lozo is the Senior Associate Vice President of Campus Operations at the University of Richmond and is responsible for the oversight of Campus Business Services, Dining Services, the Office for Sustainability, and Facilities, which itself encompasses Design & Construction, Facilities Operations, and Facilities Business Operations. Paul has more than 30 years of experience in operations leadership, marked by a collaborative and communicative approach, a strong commitment to accountability and growth, and genuine care for his colleagues and team.

In his 25 years at the University of Richmond, Paul served in roles of increasing scope and responsibility at UR, prioritizing operational excellence, professional development, and cross-campus collaboration. After two years serving as the Chief Operating Officer at nearby St. Catherine’s School, Paul returned to UR in September of 2025. 

A proud double Spider, Paul holds both his Bachelor of Liberal Arts and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Richmond in addition to completing APPA’s Management Institute and Leadership Academy.  Paul and his wife, Monica, are also proud Spider parents of two University of Richmond graduates.
